Financial Literacy Award

Mrs. Gina Mancuso-Sidhu, Economics & Personal Finance teacher at Grafton High School (GHS) received the Grand Prize in PricewaterhouseCooper’s (PwC) Financial Literacy Award program. GHS received $5,000 that will be used toward the school’s Economics and Personal Finance program.

PwC recognizes educators who are helping students develop responsible financial behaviors by prioritizing financial literacy curricula in our nation’s classrooms and connecting lessons to real-world application. Mrs. Mancuso-Sidhu submitted a three minute video that depicted her students working in groups and analyzing stocks to create a $500,000 diversified portfolio.
