Waller Mill Newspaper Box for Literacy

Students at Waller Mill Elementary School (WMES) participated in the Paint the Box … Read a Newspaper Literacy Campaign for the Virginia Gazette. Local schools, artists and organizations have taken old newspaper boxes and transformed them into works of art. The boxes are on display all around town at local businesses. This project supports the endeavors of Literacy for Life. The boxes will be used to raise money in an auction in April. Vote for your favorite box.
