Finalists Announced for Future Chefs CompetitionPosted On: 3/7/2014 |

Ten elementary students have been selected to compete in the initial phase of the Sodexo Future Chefs Culinary Competition. Earlier this year, elementary students were invited to enter the completion by submitting a favorite recipe. After receiving more than 100 recipes, one finalist was selected from each elementary school. The finalists will face off on Thursday, March 20, at York High School from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., where they will create and present their submissions for judging and sampling. Judges will consider taste, texture, presentation and use of featured ingredients. The winner will go on to a regional competition and then potentially the national competition.
