SES Holds Opening Ceremony for the Winter Olympics

Seaford Elementary School (SES) is bringing Sochi to life for students during the 2014 Winter Olympics. Staff held their own opening ceremony and assigned each classroom at Seaford Elementary School a participating country. The students then began tracking medals won by “their” country while researching information about the country. Classes will select a small group of students to present information at the school’s Olympic Country Expo on Thursday, February 27.
