Tee Time

Yorktown Elementary School students will be provided basic golf instruction in their physical education classes this school year through a partnership with the First Tee of the Virginia Peninsula.

The First Tee National School Program, initiated in 2004, is now in nearly six thousand schools across the country. The goal of the program is to give schools the tools to incorporate golf techniques, character values and health lessons into their physical education curriculums.
