Educational Leaders Share Best Practices

Several YCSD staff members took part in the recent Conference on Education in Richmond. The conference is sponsored annually by the Virginia School Boards Association as an opportunity for school administrators and school board members to share successful educational practices taking place throughout the state.

YCSD presentations included such topics as staff development, work readiness programs for students with disabilities, and student engagement. In addition to staff presentation, School Board member Page Minter and Superintendent Eric Williams attended as representatives of the school division.
