YCSD Students Supporting Tornado Victims

Mt. Vernon Elementary School students have begun a fundraising campaign to help the children affected by the EF5 tornado that hit Moore, Oklahoma this week. Third grade students set up posters and collection cans at their school. They took their efforts a step further and made cans and posters for each school in the division to encourage other students to support the fundraising efforts. The fundraiser will continue through June 6, 2013. All monies raised will be donated to the Red Cross.
