Bullying Awareness Activities

Waller Mill Elementary School (WMES) students and staff have participated in a variety of activities for Bullying Prevention Month. To culminate the school’s Anti-Bullying Spirit Days students and staff collaborated with Dare Elementary School (DES) to host a Skype session which included showcasing art teacher, Renee Koob, who works at both schools. Students at both schools were encouraged to sit with a new friend at lunch. Students also participated in a positive message "Snowball Throw" in their classes and enjoyed hot cocoa to "Warm up to a new friend”.

WMES Students exchanged positive affirmation notes with DES Students to fill their buckets! In return, DES Students created and shared Valentine-Grams with WMES students' buckets.
