Paper Airplane Contest at Magruder Elementary

Magruder families and staff braved the chilly weather Thursday night, January 17, 2013, to participate in an airplane contest. The PTA sponsored the exciting event and provided students with the materials to create their own paper airplane. After creating their airplane, students participated in an airplane throwing contest where students tested their airplane to see how far it would fly. Families and staff had an enjoyable time watching students use their creative skills to create airplanes.
