York County Schools Eat Pie

The York Foundation for Public Education, Inc. (YFPE) held their first annual Pie Patrol Fundraiser in November. YFPE raised over $900 and sold apple, pumpkin and pecan pies from the Jamestown Pie Company. The funds will be allocated to the Teacher and Para-Professional Scholarship Fund. Over 270 pies were delivered by YFPE board members and volunteers throughout the division. Mt. Vernon Elementary, Grafton Middle and York High schools were each awarded $150 from YFPE for being the top selling schools. Peggy Myatt, Foundation Director delivered the “check” to each winning school.
