YCSD Early Release Day - January 20, 2022Posted on: Wednesday, January 19, 2022York County School Division will be implementing early dismissals for all schools tomorrow, Thursday, January 20 due to the potential for hazardous road conditions as winter weather moves into our area. As a reminder, when schools close early for weather, all afterschool activities, athletics and the Right at School program are also canceled. Instructional Material ReviewPosted on: Tuesday, January 18, 2022The Instruction Department will hold a public review of the instructional materials recommended for adoption by the school division. These materials may include physical textbooks, eBooks, and any additional electronic resources. The purchasing of these materials will depend on funding. Read more |
YCSD Informational Release - Week of Jan. 17, 2022Posted on: Monday, January 17, 2022On Saturday, Governor Youngkin issued an executive order related to schools and masking. It is important to note that this order does not go into effect until Monday, January 24. Therefore, tomorrow morning and all this week, students and staff will continue to be required to wear masks in schools and on school buses in accordance with the protocols we have had in place this school year. YCSD Schools Closed - January 4, 2022Posted on: Monday, January 03, 2022The York County School Division will be closed for students tomorrow, Tuesday, January 4. The rain and snow that affected our area today are expected to produce icy road conditions overnight. Based on the forecasted temperatures, these conditions are not expected to improve sufficiently to allow bus transportation tomorrow morning. Read more |
