LUNCH MENU

Student Meals

Research shows students perform better academically when they are nourished and healthy. In partnership with our food services provider, Sodexo, YCSD ensures students are offered a variety of nutritious school meals in accordance with the USDA School Lunch, Breakfast and Commodity Food programs.

Students may pay for lunches on a daily or weekly (5-day and 4-day weeks only) basis. Lunch prices are posted in the cafeteria. Free or reduced price lunches are available (upon application and approval) to students whose family income falls within federally established guidelines. Only approved food and drink items will be sold to elementary school students. Neither the cafeteria nor the school can accept lunch charges. Students may not leave school grounds during lunch.

Applications for free and reduced-price meals are distributed to parents at the beginning of the school year. Applications also may be requested at any time from any school.

Breakfast and lunch menus can be found online.

York County School Division has implemented an online payment service that will give parents additional information about their child's school cafeteria account. With the service, MySchoolBucks, parents have the option of paying online or continuing to pay by cash or check at the school. In each instance, parents may use the service to monitor balances and set up email alerts when balances are low. Parents also can view what their children are purchasing each day. Is your child spending his lunch money quickly? Through MySchoolBucks, parents can place restrictions on a la carte items to limit spending.

We are partnered with Envision Payment Solutions for the recovery of returned checks. If your check is dishonored by the bank, a service fee will be assessed in accordance with state law. In providing a check as payment, you authorize electronic representment if your check should return unpaid. Also, you authorize service charges and processing fees as allowed by state law to be debited from the same account via paper draft or electronic funds transfer. Envision can be contacted at 877-290-5460.
