Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free, confidential service available to all division employees to assist individuals dealing with difficult situations, either work-related or personal, that may affect their work performance, health, or personal well-being.

Beginning January 1, 2018, the division has reestablished EAP services with our provider, Sentara Health. To access services, employees can call 757-363-6777, 1-800-899-8174, or visit the Sentara Health website (using username 'YCSD') to access the services. When contacted, Optima EAP will locate a counselor near the employee's home or work and help schedule an appointment.

ID Recovery Assist provides a toll-free 30-minute consultation with an identity recovery professional to assess situations objectively, create action plans and provide knowledge and tools to implement effectively.
